Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae Singers was born on Friday, February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He appeared in Shottas a film that has become a legend with Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut Like Father Like Son album and singles like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae single) and"Who The Cap" (remix), Sensimelia and more all added to the increasing recognition for the new reggae of his generation. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue an acclaimed cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem show (an international music showcase), which was first held in Miami. Marley did a performance in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live across 36 countries. Marley was a target in an auction war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record, and in 1997, he collaborated with P.M. Dawn is the lead singer on the album Gotta Movin' On
