Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her performance as the character Detective Diane Russell. Also, she has appeared in shows like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was the sole child of an United Auto Workers executive and his wife, who was a household worker. She grew up in a home that included four brothers. In her early years she was aspired to become a reporter for the court. But after she graduated from high school and moving in New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. Her first appearance acting was as an innocent teenager in the show All My Children. Delaney was in numerous of films, television movies and dramatics since then. Her personal life unlike her professional life hasn't been a success and has not been happy. The talented actress has had to deal with addiction issues in the past and had two failed marriages. Her custody was taken away from her son in 2005.
